Subject: Bug#41983: Empty string instead of data sent to host
From: istraus () attbi ! com
Date: 2002-04-30 17:43:03
[Download RAW message or body]
Package: kjs
Version: KDE 3.0.0
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified
On some forms, the data is not always transmitted to the host.
Specific site: http://cbs.marketwatch.com
Stock quotes work on the main screen. A second screen allows entry for additional \
quotes. When they are entered and either <CR> or the screen button is pushed, an \
empty string is submitted to the host--no quotes. However, if the browser is backed \
up, so the requested symbols reappear, it works the second time around.
The affected screen/dialog is under
cbs.marketwatch.com/tools/quotes/quotes.asp?<bunch of entry dependent symbols>
New behavior since KDE 2.2.2
(Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
(Called from KBugReport dialog. Fields Application, KDE Version, OS, Compiler \
manually changed)
