I'm afraid this is the way how X11-style cut&paste works. You select something
and it goes automatically into the selection-buffer (accessible via pressing
the middle mouse button). Only if you press Cltr-C or choose Copy in the
menu, it will go into the Copy buffer (accessible via Ctrl-V or Paste in the
menu).

Maybe you can simply use Ctrl-V or the menu for pasting then, instead of MMB?

(Ideadlly, IMO) When something is highlighted in KDE, it should not be automatically \
copied to the clipboard. It should be copied only when I right-click and click copy \
from the menu.

I find the current behavior a bit annoying because I often highlight entire \
paragraphs/lines and then just delete them. At the same time, I will often have some \
other line which I was planning on copying into that space, only to find that it has \
been over-written be what I just now deleted.
