[Download RAW message or body]

Package: kdesktop
Version: v1.9.8 (using KDE 3.0.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 2.95.3
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

This is the scenario. I've got kbiff monitoring my pop3 account on my corporate \
mailserver. Kmail is opened at session init and swallowed to the panel. Kmail, is \
also configured to notify me with a message if new mail are downloaded from server. \
When I leave my workstation I lock the screen using the button provided by the \
kicker. After some times screensaver starts.

If new mail is downloaded, kmail said me "You've got new mail" and screensaver is \
stopped but even if I move the mouse or key press the unlocking password is never \
asked back to me. My workaround is to switch in console and killing the lock \
processes using kill...
