Package: konqueror Version: 2.1-20010106-1 (Originally submitted to the Debian BTS by Olaf Stetzer as Bug#81683) In some situations khelpcenter still is not able to start, when there is no konqeror-window open. This seems to bel related to old files in the users ~/.kde tree as other users on the same system don't have this problem. The startup of khelpcenter hangs after the following strace message: read(6,"\0\0\0\vDCOPServer ... ...\35app"..., 81) = 81 select(7, [3 5 6], NULL, NULL, NULL If I can help with some contents of my ~/.kde-files please mail. I don't know which of them are relevant otherwise I would have added any helpful data. Greetings, Olaf
