Subject: kstart --alldesktops broken with slow applications
From: Michael@Gengenbach.DE

Package: kstart
Version: KDE 2.2.0 Beta1
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

Hi,

this seems to go back to KDE 1.2.x when --alldesktops was still called -sticky. The \
problem is that if I start an application with "kstart --alldesktops" it's not this \
application which seems to get this property, but the next window to appear on the \
desktop.

We have this problem with a slow Java application that gets started by a kstart \
--alldesktops in Autostart. The application is so slow that the user can easily log \
in and when the desktop is ready start another faster application (like konsole) via \
the panel and then this application will get sticky and the original application \
won't get sticky.

Just a small bug but annoying nevertheless :-).

Best wishes and thanks for a great desktop!

Michael
