When using Kate, 
I deselect the feature showfilelist and/or
showfileselector and select again, the child window appear out, and I try to put \
inside clicking the icon for that pourpuse, I can not get the child window get inside \
kate, and kate crash after some cliks... the solution I found was erase the kate \
config file and the /.kde directory
