From: reiner.jaeger () wincor-nixdorf ! com

Package: kwrite
Version: KDE 2.2.1
Severity: normal
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified
I use a programmable keyboard with its own flash-memory to store i.e. random strings.
One key is programmed with 10 capitals. Each of them are sent by the kb in the way \
make-shift,make-key,break-key,break-shift. If I press this key, all letters appear, \
but beginning from the 2nd a random number of them are no capitals.
This behaviour is reproduceable with any application, but not with the plain shell or \
DOS/Win OS's.
It seems to be a timing problem.
