Package: kicker
Version: KDE 2.9.1 CVS/CVSup/Snapshot
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 2.95.3
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I have kicker on the right vertical side and kasbar on the left-bottom corner.
Kasbar is launched on startup by kicker.
When I start KDE, I get this (use your fantasy ;)):

_____
_____

(kicker uses screen.height-kasbar.height)
After I drag kicker around and replace it in the right side, I get this
(correct) configuration

_____ | |
_____ | |

(kicker is using 100% of scree.height)
