Package: kxkb
Version: KDE 2.9.1
Severity: normal
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

after setting the Arabic Keymap, and symbol ( in $XDIR/lib/X11/xkb/symbols) and \
setting every xfree86 file .. the AR symbol for the Arabic language Appear in kxkb \
control module .. and adding the Arabic keyboard works fine .. but I need to be \
holding the right ALT key to enter in Arabic even when I am selecting the Arabic \
keyboard. The fix ( I guess I know it) is to add this line to the \
kdebase/kxkb/rules.cpp file : rules.cpp, line 132
          { "ar", "ISO8859-6",1 },

it will make the kxkb take take the ar keyboard symbol and make it possible
to input in arabic without the use of the ALT key.
