OS/Compiler notes: 

In the file explorer mode of the Konqueror,
when a directory in the left pane is clicked
it expands to show subdirectories. When the
directory is close to the bottom of the
window, I wish it shifted up in the window 
at the same time to display as many subdirectories 
as possible. I found that MS Explorer does
this and it saves quite a few clicks. It also
seems natural as when one is expanding a 
directory, he/she surely wants to see what
directories are in it.
