Package: kword Version: 1.1 (using KDE 2.2.1 ) Severity: normal Installed from: SuSE Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.10-4GB OS/Compiler notes: When I use some common fonts like helvetica the document is drawed ok on the screen, but both in the print preview and in the REAL printing the fonts are too big and the characters are printed too close, making the documente not readable at all. In the same conditions I also noticed that some TTF fonts imported from windows are not printed, but are converted to "helvetica" (I think) somewhere in the printing process. Like in the first problem, the fonts are printed correctly on the screen, but absolutely wrong on paper or print preview. For example, when using a TTF called "metal lord" (looks like the "Iron Maiden" band font) the printer outputs the text using the "Helvetica" font (or something very similar).
