When used in "Auto Hide" mode, kicker does very frequently stop working
without obvious reason. It can be restarted via DCOP

  dcop kicker "" restart

and works again, but this does never last for long. It often 'dies' again
after a few minutes. There's no reliable way to reproduce that nasty
behavior, but simply using kicker in "Auto hide" mode for a while
should be enough. Changing the hiding delay doesn't change anything.

This is not the only problem with the auto hide mode. All worked well
before "Delay 0 seconds" was introduced (long before KDE3). Since then
kicker flickers when leaving it with the mouse. It disappears, re-appears
and disappears finally. (Not always, but mostly.)

Since the KDE 2.* -> 3.0 transition there is also the other problem
from above. I'm since a while using a shell alias for faster
restarting:

  alias ki='dcop kicker "" restart'

This helps a lot, and I execute it at least 60 times each day!
