By Emacs keystrokes, I mean the key combinations it supports, in this special case \
those for line editing, like Ctrl-a to move the cursor to the beginning of the \
current line, vs. Ctrl-e to move it to the end. Some programs, bash for instance, \
also support them, and I would have expected the at least the xfree mode of konsole \
to forward them correctly. The Emacs keystrokes did not work for me at the time I \
posted the "bug", although it works now. Maybe I just misconfigured something? I \
don't know. But it seems like konsole was not the problem. Please delete this from \
the bug database, I think it was false alarm.
