Subject: Incorrect comment parsing in kwrite's HTML syntax coloring
From: ejalbert@cs.stanford.edu

Package: kwrite
Version: 3.0 (using KDE 2.2.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release) [FreeBSD]
OS: FreeBSD (i386) release 4.4-RELEASE
OS/Compiler notes:

The following HTML snippet is from the GCC 2.95.3 docs at \
<http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-2.95.3/gcc.html>. When the source for that page is \
opened in kwrite, kwrite's HTML parser believes that the second comment (starting \
with "Written by") ends at the first '>'. That's wrong; comments end at '-->'. It'd \
be great if the parser could be correct to recognize proper comment termination.
