You obviously have a binary-incompatible scan plugin.
Recompile and install koffice/plugins/scan, or remove its .desktop file
(e.g. "make uninstall").

KWord crashes while loading a .kwd file

The progress bar goes to 100% before the crash.

The test file was statistic.kwd in KWord's demos directory.
