Hello,

I found that when I exited X I still had one kdeinit and artsd running.  
When I killed them and logged in I had my kde panel back.  I don't know if 
the failure was caused by the kdesktop or one of these.  I've had 
significant trouble with  kdeinit since I've upgraded of kde2.X, but don't 
really know why.
