Sorry for sloppy reporting.

It hangs, and it is kdeinit: kicker that is eating the cpu

None, I got rpms from suse, they seem to be stripped.
More info:

Taking my initial report:
1. Click on the "K"-Menu and let the menu pop up
2. Move the mouse away from the menu, e.g. to the middle of the desktop
but leave the menu open! (popped up)
3. Do CTRL-TAB, and kicker blocks my mouse and my keyboard

Now I managed to to it by doing this:

1. Click on the "K"-Menu and let the menu pop up, move the mouse away
2. press and hold CTRL , press TAB
3. release both
4. press and hold CTRL , press TAB
5. click somewhere on the desktop -> hang

I hope this helps,

yves
