I applied the fix suggested above (deleting db folders) which worked for me
until I rescaned my library today. Now there are a lot of tracks missing in the
_collection view_ of amarok.

Interesting is that when I add the missing files manually by dragging them from
a file manager the ratings are shown correctly. Since the ratings are stored in
the amarok db it seems that amarok has all the tracks in the db, it only does
not show them in the collection view and does not select them in dynamic
playlist. 

Maybe this bug has another side which is not connected to the ScanManager.
