It is the first in a set of releases, which will end with -4. The presentation 
on sourceforge isn't too good, but when you hit the "download" link, you get 
to see the real release (as the filename). I won't do that again.

I am yet to release -4. I just got back from Linux-Kongress and sent my GPG 
key off to ftpadmin. 

I will release -4 when the I have the kernel.org access thing sorted out. It 
will almost certainly contain minor documentation fixes (to tell people what 
to do for RH7.3 and BSD 4.5 compilation) but no code changes. I'll put it on 
sourceforge and kernel.org at the same time.

I really do like kernel.org as a distribution method, because it is so well 
mirrored. However sourceforge is a better development platform.
