That is good to know. I am trying to determine if it is worth the
effort pursuing a user friendly Mac to Zaurus connectivity. Several
factors give hope for a future solution. One is the Open Embedded
project which is the future Open Zaurus efforts. From what I can
determine much is being based upon Gentoo Linux which is also
cooperating with Open Darwin as far as porting applications. It seems
as if the development is fragmented with everyone doing their own
thing. Which is fine for growth and competition but the end user
suffers by never having a stable intuitive solution for true mobile
computing and integration.

Which clears up a lot and keeps me from flogging a dead penguin. : )

I am a standards compliant Web designer, don't get me started. : ) I
have found that even some handheld sites don't display properly on the
Zaurus which to me is a huge oversight.

Babel Fish is what got me into this mess. : ) I had found a user's
site showing what looked like a SL-5xxx Z and he claimed he was syncing
notes and MP3s with OS X and his Z. It got me searching for why he
could in Japan and the rest of the world was left hanging.
