I have had the same problem, albeit with a python+qt
program I wrote. The times I've noticed happening are
when I accidently (and lightly) tap the desktop icon
of my program. Nothing happens but there's the little
program logo in the task bar. I start my program after
this has happened, then quit it, and immediately the
program pops up again. Weird.
