Hello @ All!

I tried to install YDL on an Xserve with the special Xserve YDL ISO.
The Installation was obviously successful, but no bootable system
could be found after rebooting.

My intention is to install only Linux on the first disk of the Xserve
without using any Mac OS. So I deleted all partitions shown in the
partition editor of YDL (during installation). Then I created the 3
necessary partitions (bootstrap = 32 MB, Swap = 512 MB, root = 6 GB).

Further, no error during installation!

After reboot no system could be found an the blue screen with the
question marked computer is shown. I tried to press the "alt" key, but
there are only two buttons and no symbol of an installed system.

Should I have left the OS X Partitons on the disk? - resp., do YDL
need any Mac OS installation?

THX for any help and best regards!

Andi
