Chris, meet Carl,

Carl is a hi-fi audio geek like you. He is frustrated because while he can 
play live CDs under GameOS and achieve the quality he is seeking, once ripped 
to the PS3 drive, even when oversampled, the quality drops noticeable due to 
what he believes is a limitation of the GameOS audio player.

Therefore, he is asking if an audio app under YDL may enable him to play these 
higher quality rips from the drive.

I have also asked that the 2 of you carry this conversation on the 
yellowdog-general list as there are likely many people who would also enjoy 
this conversation.
