It looks like you are using the yaffs tree. It is most likely better to use 
the yaffs2 tree in CVS because this is kept up to date.

The yaffs2 tree still supports yaffs file system layout too.
If you want to keep using the yaffs tree, then still look at the yaffs2 tree 
to understand how it hooks up.
