crlf was preserved as &#xd; earlier. When we switched to 1.4.0 crlf is getting converted to &#13;

This is causing issue for several clients are we upgraded to 1.4.0 this week.

Documentation also says it should be &#xd;

Can you please provide a workaround for this asap
