XMLBeans has to use an XQuery engine to execute the query.
What XQuery engine are you using? Maybe this is a problem
with the XQuery engine?

Good question. It was loaded into an EAR or WAR somewhere. I am not the developer but \
trying to troubleshoot the problem myself somehow. Why do you ask? Does XMLBeans \
cause the query to run against the jar if the files are in a jar or even a WAR?
