We currently have checked in the 2001/03 version of xml.xsd in src/xmlschema/schema. \
This supports the xml:base, xml:lang and xml:space attributes. As of 2005/08 a new \
version has been produced which adds an xml:id attribute (see \
http://www.w3.org/TR/xml-id/). We should update xml.xsd and see if there's anything \
else that needs to be done to support xml:id.
