you are right that i am after an incremental change (i hoped it _was_
incremental but it does not seems so any longer).
the ultimate solution, as you say and i think so too, is to allow
multiple views and multiple backing stores by abstracting what XML
infoset properties Xmlbeans internally needs to show us XmlObjects.
