Much of the problem is culture.

I have few problems with using schemas to codify practice, or as 
documentation.

I have many problems with using schemas as a foundation for all future 
work.

I have severe problems with using schemas to lurch toward the maximum 
possible straitjacket that can fit some part of a problem.
