Introducing SketchPath-Pro: A new kind of XPath Tool
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Qutoric Limited is pleased to announce the launch of a new commercial
product, SketchPath-Pro.

With vastly improved performance*, an entire range of new features and
a complete redesign of the user interface, this product represents a
step-change to the standard freeware SketchPath product. The standard
SketchPath tool has, till now, enjoyed the position of being one of
the most popular XPath tools of its kind, in use with over 400
companies worldwide; I hope you'll agree that SketchPath-Pro now takes
reliable and productive XPath development to a new level.

There's a set of brief introductory videos for SketchPath-Pro at:

Description
---------------

SketchPath-Pro is a light-weight graphical tool (at 8MB, about half
the download size of standard SketchPath) designed to provide the most
complete XPath editing, debugging and management environment available
today. It comes complete with Saxon 9.2-PE for XPath 2.0 processing,
and uses the built-in .NET XPath processor for XPath 1.0.

Advanced
------------

If you're already using an accomplished XML editor, you probably
already have a reasonable XPath test environment for basic
expressions. SketchPath-Pro can complement this by providing you with
more advanced features such as expression-tracing, evaluation-context
control, expression-management, regression testing, comprehensive
intellisense and auto-generation. This tool also has integrated
rendering for HTML and Office 2007/2010** documents. Extensive
built-in Zip handling features of SketchPath-Pro are enhanced by an
implementation of the EXPath Zip Module specification, for analysing,
updating or creating Zip archives.

The SketchPath-Pro design recognises the importance of efficiently
creating reliable, tested XPath expressions in most (if not all) IT
solutions using XML; it therefore focuses on providing a simple user
interface for developing, testing and maintaining XPath expressions
against a large and managed set of XML test files.

Versatile XPath File Creation/Conversion
--------------------------------------------------

XPath expressions, and their evaluation context, are managed and
stored by SketchPath-Pro in a specially designed XML format for reuse,
this file format is shared with Qutoric's XSLT batch-processing and
test tool, CoherentWeb. XSLT converters for SketchPath-Pro can be
written to automatically import or export XPath from a variety of file
formats, including XSLT stylesheets or Schematron schemas.

Platform Details
--------------------

SketchPath requires the .NET 2.0 framework and Windows XP SP2 or later
(optimised for Windows 7)

Available Now
-----------------
SketchPath-Pro is now available from the Qutoric website for
free-trial or purchase at:
