Thanks a lot, it worked on my tests with Firefox and IE. I take it 
"mozilla5" is the name described in the global sitemap.xmap:

     <browser name="mozilla5" useragent="Mozilla/5"/>
     <browser name="mozilla5" useragent="Netscape6/"/>

I had also tried adding
     <browser name="gecko" useragent="Gecko"/>
but to no avail, as I suppose now that once a match is found, the 
remaining possibilites are no longer explored.
