I've been looking at the various Cocoon samples and tools available for =
accessing and managing session data and the shear number of possibilities =
is a little overwhelming for a newbie.

It seems to me a very common requirement for web applications is something =
like this:

if there isn't a valid session
  create and initialize a session
if there isn't a valid context
  create and initialize a context
use the context

It also seems to be more Cocoon-ish to do this in the sitemap with =
matchers, selectors, actions, transformers, etc. than with the various =
types of server pages. Personally, I'd like to see if I can get away =
without having any server page code in my app.

Am I on the right track here? Can we accomplish this with the current set =
of Cocoon items or is there something else we need? If one of the gurus =
can point me in the right direction I promise I'll document it as a how-to =
or make a tutorial.

Thanks,
Bruce
