I just tried to install xine-lib-0.9.13 on a slack-9.0 machine with 256mb ram
533Mghz CPU and during "make install" if recieved an error stateing:
"ext.c: internal error: illegal instruction"
after /usr/locallib/xine/plugins were installed, which I believe would be
during the installation of wine.

I have pasted the screenful of messages leading uo the the error below

I don't think this would be a bug so I now have to figure out what I need to
do to get xine installed. I've compiled from tarballs before, even edited
config scripts on occassion to get things working, but every time I've had a
make or make install error I put it in the too hard basket.

I don't want to do that again if I can help it.
