Hi,

Now that AMD R300 and R600 hardware is beginning to support XvMC, I thought I'd test \
it with xine (1.1.19hg). And I discovered that it crashed immediately with a SIGSEGV \
error. The reason why wasn't difficult to find, either:

video_out_xvmc.c:1444:9: warning: 'adaptor_num' may be used uninitialized in this \
function [-Wuninitialized] video_out_xvmc.c:1444:9: warning: 'adaptor_info' may be \
used uninitialized in this function [-Wuninitialized]

Basically, the adaptor_num and adaptor_info variables are never initialised, which \
inevitably leads to a crash in open_plugin().
