Hi,

Are there any standard linux libs that decode the .wav file header, or
do I have to re-implement the .wav header parsing in every app I do?

Most linux apps will not play .wav files with wFormatTag =
WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE.

But if you hexedit the file and replace WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBE(65534)
with PCM(1) it plays fine.

If there is no standard lib available, I will manually add support to
xine and aplay.
