Hi,
New Multimedia Exploration Journal entry available for all you
multimedia groupies out there:

  http://www.pcisys.net/~melanson/codecs/mmentry-2003-08-31.html

Highlight in this entry is a CD-ROM title from 2000 that actually used a
heretofore unseen video codec, RT21: Intel Indeo 2.1 (at least, there are
no samples on the MPlayer site that I could find). The app apparently used
a NE-format library (used in Win3.1 if memory serves) to decode the data.
The binary and several sample files are on the MPlayer FTP under
incoming/RT21; they should probably be moved to samples/V-codecs/RT21.

Question: Does anyone have any suggestions for good
DOS/MZ/NE-format EXE disassemblers? PE-format disassemblers are the most
common, but there are still some old DOS players for some of these obscure
formats.

	Thanks...
