Hey All,

When it rains it pours. While investigating a RedHat 6.2 compile
issue, I discovered an unrelated, but fatal compile error in 1.5.2 if
XERCES_DEVEL was not set. Since this variable should only be set by
folks wanting to modify Xerces.pm, users must be able to compile
without setting it.

You can download Xerces.pm 1.5.3 from the usual place:

        - Important fix for RedHat 6.2 users, iostream from gcc 2.91
          chokes on -Dbool=char, so #undef bool is needed
	- XERCES_DEVEL no longer needs to be set to get Xerces.C to
          compile.
