Summary: Core Dump problem while using 32-bit binary release of
                    Xerces-C
           Product: Xerces-P
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: HP
        OS/Version: HP-UX
            Status: NEW
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: P1
         Component: Xerces-C API
        AssignedTo: xerces-p-dev@xml.apache.org
        ReportedBy: amit.kumar@patni.com

I have downloaded 32-bit binary release of Xerces - C ( xerces-c_2_7_0-hpux_11-
acc_a03.tar.gz).

We have a project involving XML manipulation and we are thinking of using
Xerces parser. Ours application is 32-bit, however it will be running on HP UX
11.11i which is a 64-bit operating system.

I have a sample program written and i am able to compile it successfully using
libraries provided by Xerces. When i try to run the program is dumping core. I
am getting message

"/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: typeid__XT9exception_ (data)
from /appl/load/dsnp/dev/tuxadm/xerces/xerces-c-hpux_1
1i-acc_a03/lib/libxerces-c.sl.27
Abort(coredump)".

I have also tried my sample program linked with 64-bit of xerces download
(xerces-c_2_7_0-hpux_11i_64-acc_a03.tar.gz) and its working fine.

Can you please suggest what's going on here ?
