I'm seeking some explanation as to why xerces 1.1.2 is much slower than
1.0.3.  When I run the dom.DOMCount sample program on 1.1.2 the processing
time is 1600 ms, when I run it with 1.0.3 the processing time is 766 ms.
I using jdk1.2 for Linux.
