Looks like your "xend" has crashed, I think - but it could be other
things too.

Is it possible that your Dom0 doesn't have enough memory? How large is
your swap-file and how much is used?

How much memory does your machine have, and how much are you giving the
DomU you try to start?

Are you using a static Dom0 memory (dom0_mem= on the xen.gz boot line?)
or dynamic via "balooning"?

In my experience, it's a better idea to set up a static amount of Dom0
memory, because there is less problems with DomU "squeezing all
available" from Dom0 [One of the problems when reducing a domains memory
is that the size of static areas allocated at the start-of-day still
remain the same size. So for example, a 1GB guest may have a bunch of
statically allocated stuff that is 4 times bigger than a 256MB guest,
simply because they are allocated as a "proportion of total memory"].
