With the nomodeset the Xorg.0.log file looks fine, no error reported but, I
got a blackscreen/system freeze, no GDM, no X, no console... And in Ubuntu
Karmic, there is no xorg.conf...

I'll take a look for you band-aid solution "Xen-devel ttm"...
