I don't know perl but I was wondering if someone would be able to port a
mirc script to perl. I have a script meet.mrc that is used to run readings
for a meeting. The readings are in a dir called readings and the
script is run by right click in channel window and choosing opener,
closer, meeting topic. opener and closer give you the list of readings and
you choose which ones to run. It then runs them in the channel slowly so
all can read them as they scroll by and at same time also changes the
channel topic to meeting in progress. When you choose meeting topic, you
get a box asking for meeting topic and you enter topic in it and it
changes topic for the channel, saying "meeting in progress, topic is<what
you enter>. Then when meeting is done you run closer and chosse the
closing reading and it runs it and changes topic again to Welcome NA
meetings nightly.... I will attach a copy of the meet.mrc. If anybody can
help me with this I would would appreciate it. This is the only thing I
use windows for because I run a meeting every sunday night and have to use
mirc for the scripts. Thanks
