some problem with subject.
im use russian locale.
when im running xchat and switch keyboard to russian (use xkb) and trying 
write any
symbol in main window - xchat crashed (core dumped).
in any other windows (setup/etc) switching ok and im can write in russian.
with glib1.2.8 all ok.
