Helpful (friendly) hint: this isn't IRC. You don't get bonus kewl
points for being able to spew back one-line responses with lots of
l337 B!ff-isms.

This is e-mail. You actually get bonus points for forming complete
sentences with punctuation, making reasonable attempts to use correct
spelling and forming complete rational chains of thought.

(Come to think of it, people who can't manage to complete sentences or
manage to put more than three words at a time on a line before hitting
send/enter on IRC find they get booted from channels where I have ops
if I'm feeling particularly ornery.)

You'll find you'll be taken much more seriously and possibly get the
help you're looking for if you drop the idea that this mailing list is
some sort of extension of IRC.

[So long as what you're asking for isn't simply, "I want this feature
or I want this to work such-and-so way JUST because that's how mIRC
does it." xchat is NOT mIRC. If you prefer the way mIRC does things,
fine that's your preference; nothing's stopping you from using mIRC if
you think it does things better].
