Hi,

The MPEG algorithm supports error detection by means of a CRC, although this
feature is seldomly used (in the actual MP3) and I've never seen a decoder that uses
this check...

But if your program hangs or stops while playing a (supposedly corrupted) MP3
there's something wrong with your program.
If the XAudio decoder "detects" an invalid frame, it just resynchronizes itself and
carries on.
The only thing you'ld hear is a squeeky noise or a blip, depending on how many frames
are corrupted.

Greetz,

Peter.

Is it possible to do an error correction on mp3 files. Sometimes my program is \
hanging, or stopped. Thanks in advanced, Eduard.
