Hi,
Sounds like you have the wrong version of Xerces. Xalan 0.20 runs with
Xerces 1.02. Which version of xerces are you using?

Hi,

When I try to run the sample programs that come with xalan version 0.20.0,
I get the error message org/xml/sax/ext/LexicalHandler not found.

I am using xml4j version 3.0.0 (early access) I have the xerces.jar in the
class path that comes along with this release.

Has anyone used xalan with the IBM release of the xml parser ?
Do they work together ? or I have to necessarily use the apache release of
the xml parser.
