Dont worry about it and just install proftpd.  That way, when the proftpd
guys realized the linux attack which is being currently reported is real
and stop ignoring it because they cannot reproduce it (which seems to be
their standard first-responce to all such complaits) you can switch back to
wu-ftpd for the month or two it'll take them to decide to cobble together a
patch.
