facing this issue ,I change the 
WSIFPort_ApacheAxis.makeNewAXISCall() method 
to set a timeout to the Call object using the
WSIFProperties.getSyncTimeout() which is a grain 
property in the wsif.properties.

i am not sure how it could be done in other way? the timeout is provider

specific property and is not described in WSDL?

what is the way you would like to see it working - described in WSDL?
