Hi,
As Matt Aimonetti (a core committer to Merb [1]) notes [2], he've
considered using WSF/Ruby inside Merb to provide Web services
capabilities for the Merb framework and have backed away. As you know
we have a requirement of modifying rbconfig.rb which is a core file
shipped with Ruby in order to store a set of global configuration
options (repo path, log level etc...).
I'm proposing that we remove the dependency and provide another
parameter to WSClient/WSMessage giving the repo path, something like,
client = WSClient.new( {"to" => "epr", "wsfc_home" => "/repo/path" } )
Does anyone have any objections to that? Or any alternative methods
for solving this?
