Some time ago we wrote a program that converts IIS W3C logs to pcapng form=
at. We also wrote a WS dissector to produce a neat format like this:

[cid:image001.jpg@01D28776.264AC250]

To achieve this, the conversion program needs to pass meta-data to the dis=
sector, and it currently does this via the first frame of the converted fi=
le. This isn't ideal. I'd like to pass the meta-data via a custom IDB Op=
tion. I've looked through README.plugin and README.dissector files in the=
doc directory of the source tree and I can't find a function or technique=
for a dissector to get information from an IDB Option. Is there a standa=
rd way to do this?

Thanks and regards...Paul
